About

"Color is the key to transformation, and I’m certainly not afraid of either. When working on a design project, I first consider the people who will ultimately experience it, and prioritize the authenticity of these people. Great design should delight, inspire curiosity, save the day, and not apologize."

Julie Angelicola is a designer, stylist, artist, writer and storyteller. As a vintage–obsessed, sun worshipping, flea market fiend, she takes great pride in her growing bicycle collection and innate ability to entertain friends’ babies with ease.

She's pictured here on the porch of the seaside Victorian home she grew up in. It was this house and the family that still lives here (her family, if that wasn’t clear), that gave her boundless creative freedom, a profound love of old, good things, and a deep understanding that our greatest contributions lie within our individuality.

Julie is a 2010 graduate of The University of the Arts and currently lives in Brooklyn, NY. She cooks to relieve stress, but wouldn’t be caught dead following a recipe (hint hint, she’s Italian).
